Helping newcomers adopt Ayurveda without feeling overwhelmed
Vedatarian is a wellness app concept that helps newcomers follow an Ayurvedic lifestyle through guided routines and habit-building. I explored product strategy, user research insights, and UI design iterations to make a complex ecosystem feel modern, authentic, and easy to adopt.
Key Screens
Designed a guided onboarding + daily routine planner that turns Ayurvedic principles (doshas, habits, diet choices) into simple, actionable steps.
PROTOTYPE EXPLORING HOW USERS MOVE FROM ONBOARDING CONTEXT INTO A GUIDED DAILY WELLNESS EXPERIENCE, TRANSLATING AYURVEDIC PRINCIPLES INTO SIMPLE, ACTIONABLE STEPS.
INTERACTION PROTOTYPE DEMONSTRATING HOW DAILY ROUTINES AND RECOMMENDATIONS ADAPT BASED ON USER INPUTS AND ONGOING ENGAGEMENT.
CONCEPT FLOW SHOWING HOW HABIT TRACKING AND GENTLE FEEDBACK ENCOURAGE CONSISTENCY WITHOUT OVERWHELMING THE USER.
MOTION EXPLORATION FOR SMART WATCH FOCUSED ON CREATING A CALM, SUPPORTIVE PACING FOR WELLNESS INTERACTIONS AND TRANSITIONS BETWEEN KEY SCREENS.
HIGH-LEVEL PROTOTYPE ILLUSTRATING HOW MULTIPLE WELLNESS TOUCHPOINTS CONNECT INTO A COHESIVE, SYSTEM-DRIVEN EXPERIENCE.
Research Insights
Research showed users want authenticity, simple guidance, lifestyle integration, and easy access to experts when needed—without overwhelming information.

System Thinking
Mapped how user profile + biometrics can adapt recommendations over time — connecting habits, remedies, and plans into one cohesive system.

Iteration + UI System
Iterated based on feedback to strengthen “Ayurveda-first” identity (not just a planner) and built a consistent UI system for scalable screens and states.
